The National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) works to: enhance awareness of cervical cancer prevention, the Pap smear and proper follow-up, HPV, new technology and treatment options; communicate the success of cervical cancer screening programs in battling cervical cancer disease; assist in efforts related to cervical cancer disease research; actively help to battle cervical cancer disease for uninsured underserved women and work to assure access and education programs continue and are enhanced; act as a clearinghouse in distributing information on cervical cancer for women and family members; provide support services for women and their family members to assist with the personal burden of dealing with cancer or precancerous issues; and review and assist in the development of National and International cervical screening and treatment programs.
